The box office is closed during the summer break from July 6 to August 19. During this period, tickets can be purchased via the Volksbühne webshop. From August 20 onwards, the visitor service will be happy to assist you again on site, by email and phone for bookings and inquiries.
Advance sale
The regular advance sale starts on the 1st working day of the previous month, for special events possibly different.
Prices
Repertory performances: 12 to 50 euros, reduced 10/12 euros. Premiere surcharge: 4 euros. ALG 2 recipients and holders of a Berechtigungsnachweis (formerly berlinpass) receive 3 euro tickets at the box office, subject to availability (with the exception of premieres and special events). For prices for special events, please refer to the website.
Discounts
Pupils, students, trainees, FSJ workers and recipients of ALG 1 receive reduced prices upon presentation of appropriate identification. Holders of the Ehrenamtskarte Berlin-Brandenburg receive a 20 % discount on repertoire performances (except premieres). Refugees receive tickets for 3 euros for repertoire performances upon presentation of an appropriate ID.Volksbühne is partner of the TanzCard. Gift Vouchers
Would you like to give a theatre visit as a gift? Vouchers are available at the box office and online.
Payment
You can pay for your reserved tickets at the box office in cash, by debit card or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Online payment is possible by credit card and PayPal.For payments with your credit card, a legitimation via Mastercard Identity Check or Visa Secure is mandatory since 14.9.2019 (3-D Secure legitimation). With this procedure, you confirm your payment with a password, a TAN or a fingerprint in a smartphone app. If you have not yet registered for this procedure with your bank or savings bank, you may not be able to complete your booking in our webshop.
Accessibility
The box office hall, the lower foyer, and the auditorium of the Main Stage of the Volksbühne are accessible without barriers via the main entrance of the theatre. The Prater on Kastanienallee is accessible for wheelchair users.The Volksbühne has limited wheelchair seating in the main stage. Accompanying persons with disabilities (and the mark „B“ on their official disabled person’s ID) are admitted free of charge. Wheelchair users are kindly requested to contact the visitor service at least one day before the performance: +49 30 24065 -777 or besucherservice@volksbuehne-berlin.de.For structural reasons, the (upper) Sternfoyer and the performance venues Roter/Grüner Salon and 3.
