Main Stage

Following the highly acclaimed debut sold-out show at Roter Salon in May 2025, the Spydergum ensemble is invited on the Volksbühne Main Stage for a very special evening celebrating its anticipated album release on Unguarded.

Spydergum is a Berlin-based large electroacoustic ensemble founded by Agnese Menguzzato, Diane Esnault, Philipp Hülsenbeck, and Andrea Bambini. Believing that music comes to life through shared experiences, the founders brought together key figures from the Berlin music scene, alongside a diverse array of international musicians.

The album was recorded during a residency at Morphine-Raum in November 2024. Released by Unguarded, the record is an improvisational body of work that navigates impeccably through music genres – from neoclassical to pop, from ambient to jazz – composing a sonic tapestry where boundaries dissolve.

“Every note Spydergum plays is a paradox: it’s captured in the very second it is born and dies. The ensemble pours the weight of our feelings into a vessel that vanishes as soon as it’s full – surrendered to silence the moment it touches the air.”

Spydergum is all about solidarity and interconnectedness. Current members of the Spydergum ensemble are Concepción Huerta, Ludwig Wandinger, Luka Aron, ronja, Daniela Huerta, Clothing, Jungstötter, Severin Black, Gora Sou, Laurén Maria, Ah! Kosmos, Abigail Toll, LEGION SEVEN, Shub Roy, Simone Antonioni, Ruggero Fornari, Zylva, Perfect Deleted Futures, Philipp Hülsenbeck, Andrea Bambini and Agnese Menguzzato.

The evening is presented by Volksbühne Berlin and curated by Marlene Engel & Dounia Biedermann.
