Disrupt the Default: Translating Experience

What happens when you follow the material? How do you translate from one medium into another, from one language into another, from lived experience into aesthetic form? How does translation reorganizereorganise and reorient attention in a scattered world? How do we approximate the unbridgeable distances in translation? Accept the muddle, the opaque, disrupt the default? We invite you to an evening of performances and conversations dedicated to experimental translation as an artistic practice.

With the support of the Swedish Research Council

The readings and performances are in English.
